In Pre k we are introducing young children to many different forms of literature. Part of our daily schedule is book browsing. Since they handle these books on a daily basis, I need sturdy books. By offering a variety of board books with many interesting themes and pictures that they can relate to, children will develop an appreciation for these types of books. Also, I have found that board books are easy for small hands to hold and during book browsing time in class they can enjoy them and the books will last.

About my class
