The purpose of flexible seating is to create various opportunities for students to work in an environment they can be most successful and productive in. From sitting on the floor, to a chair, to simply standing at a desk, students are able to choose how they want to learn and work, which increases intrinsic motivation and productivity. By providing students with Wobble stools and ball chairs students will be able to move as they work and increase their focus on the task before them. In my classroom, students are working in small groups most of their day and having the choice in where they work and the seat they can choose can make all the difference in the engagement of students.

About my class
