Kids need to move frequently. In our reading and writing classes, we work to increase our stamina. By the middle to the year we spend 30 - 40 minutes reading and writing independently. Bouncy Bands would allow my students to move their feet while working and thinking at their desks. Bouncy Bands give students an outlet for built up energy. This will help to decrease anxiety and will help them to focus. Also, as students get older recess time is limited. Having the ability to move their feet at their desks will be a bridge to break time. Bouncy Bands also provide a quiet way for my students to move without distracting others.
