Flexible seating options will allow my students to learn in a way that is most beneficial to them. My kindergarten students are energetic and asking them to sit in a chair at a table for extended periods of time is not developmentally appropriate. With these flexible seating options, they will be able to sit on the floor and move around without causing distraction to themselves or others. Studies show that movements such as rocking, bouncing, and leaning increase oxygen to the brain, in turn keeping the students minds more alert and focused and increasing student learning. Thank you for helping my students learn!
