Productive. Engaged. Risk-taking. Social. Evolving. The 7th grade Research/Design class is a new enterprise, and I could not be more excited to be a part of it. As a teacher at an IB/MYP school, I seek to provide students with opportunities to develop skills that will last them far beyond the current school year. While there is time for individual learning about a topic, there is also a space for collaborating and getting our hands dirty and trying new things. When students say class was "fun," I hear "engaged." And that is when the real learning takes place.
