I serve a diverse population of learners (students with ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome and other learning disabilities) who often struggle in a traditional classroom environment. Many public schools furnish classrooms with upright, hard seats and stagnant desks. The expectation is that students will sit for the majority of the day at their desks working with pencil and paper. I am looking to provide my Exceptional Students a different experience. I am working to provide an environment which eases the anxiety that my students feel, promotes movement that my students can't control and allows the flexibility which whole classrooms need, with the goal of making success possible for ALL students that I serve.

About my class
