Normally, for the literacy block in an elementary classroom, the listening center is stocked with books, tapes, and CDs. The audio component is the radio and headphones. Creating a center radio, books and headphones but with WIRELESS headphones is such a major factor in the success of the center. Using wireless material not only will educate the students about the growing aspects of technology, but it will also reduce confusion and chaos from challenges of direct connecting devices. Wireless headphones provides opportunity for all the children to be in close proximity of the radio. Wired headphones breed issues which invites many more problems such as touching buttons, lifting of the CD lids, and other distractions instead of enjoying the story. Wireless gives the children more freedom for comfort while enjoying a great story.
