My students are introduced to a variety of sports, games and activities across multiple grade levels (k-6). The equipment I have is used in lots of ways depending on the lesson and the grade. For example the foam coated balls can be used for safe basketball passing and shooting and then a week later used for safe tossing and catching with kindergarten and first graders. They are also used for indoor soccer and a variety of games like rolly polly and marching ponies. The fleece balls are used for throwing and catching practice, safe floor hockey balls and large golf ball for younger students to practice with. The parachute we have is over 25 years old and is used for exercises and for lots of games. A new one would be wonderful to use with my hard working students. The scarves are used for teaching juggling and for throwing practice with the younger students. The bowling pins and shuffleboard is used with a cool unit called recreational games. The sports pinnies are used with multiple sports units like basketball, soccer, flag football and even just to designate two teams for various games. The spot markers are used for lots of sports and activities to let the students easily know where to stand or lineup.
