Giving students the choice on where they sit makes them accountable for their learning. I want them to take part in their learning and also learn some responsibility in the process. My students spend a large chunk of their day in my classroom and i want to do what is best for their education and well being. For my classroom I am asking for bean bags, flexible chairs, as well as floor desks. Students will be able to choose where they would like to do their independent work, however, they need to make wise choices in where they sit. Students will sit in a different spot each class period and share all the seating options.
