Having these tools for my students and for students to come would open up a whole new area of creativity in their lives. I would love to be able to offer my upper school students more than styrofoam when learning the art of printmaking and linoleum is a step in the right direction. I also see it as a vehicle of creativity to assist students who perhaps may not excel it drawing or painting. Utilizing linoleum and cutting tools would mean that the students could better understand the works of the great Hokusai or even those of contemporary artists such as Jen Hewett. Adding this new skill to those that they already possess would be a great boon to our community. Thanks DonorsChoose.org!
