My wiggly group of first grade students will benefit from flexible seating that allows them to access their learning through seating options that meet their needs as learners. Flexible seating will increase student engagement because students are given options and are able take a break from the rigidity of tables and chairs. My students will use the Soft Seating cushions to comfortably work, read, and collaborate in any part of the room that they wish to sit. My students who need movement to stay focused and actively engaged in their work will benefit from the Wobble Cushions that require their bodies to practice active sitting. Their minds can then be fully focused on learning and creating.
