Our AVID students commit to service hours as part of their admission to the program. Students will learn about our local Ronald McDonald House and the services they provide for families with hospitalized children. Families who live here while caring for ill children need to do laundry while they stay. Our students will be putting together much needed single use laundry packs with these ziploc bags, detergent, and dryer sheets, for the families utilizing our local Ronald McDonald House. Our hope is that they will build a connection toward lifelong service in their communities through the intrinsic feeling of helping others they do not know, but know are in need.

About my class
