The laminator and laminating sheets protect their picture cards that they use to communicate. The students carry around their cards everywhere and use them to communicate to their peers and teachers. They become ruined through wear and tear since we are always using our words each day. This will help keep them clean and safe and easy to transfer. Using the laminator to protect their words will help create a classroom that can get messy while still protecting the words that they are using daily! It gives them a way to enjoy their activities while not worrying about messing up their "voices."
