Due to the differences in our students, they all come with very diverse backgrounds. We will teach students to accept these differences and embrace the benefits of all of them as well. Often times students learn how to solve problems, react to situations, and feel sympathy toward others through characters in books. If we focus on filling our bookshelves with books that teach tolerance, we are giving our children great role models to learn from. My students need a carpet to sit on and enjoy these great stories and be able to read in a comfortable space. Children need a place to dream and books to take them everywhere their imagination leads them.

About my class
