My classroom places a high emphasis on hands-on learning and project-based learning. These lessons require students to create and engage with their learning on a deeper level. It's more than just hearing information, it's engaging and creating to ensure better understanding and retention. Students are creating posters, flyers, advertisements, engaging in interactive notes, creating foldables, and allowing their creativity to be unleashed. By donating to my project, you are equipping a child to become a visionary and increasing academic achievement. The supplies will be used in a variety of ways. Since my students are from a rural area, they often don't have access to basic supplies. Pencils are crucial for use in the classroom and at home. Pencils will be used daily for school work and homework. We are classroom that is focused on engaging through notes using interactive notebooks and in order to do this, students need to cut and glue notes, foldables, and mini-anchor charts in their notebooks. A class set of glue and scissors will allow my students to be able to successfully use their interactive notebooks and achieve. My school does not have an art resource so the construction paper, crayons, markers, and colored pencils will allow my students to be able to unleash their creative side. My students love to draw whether it be for academic purposes or to express their feelings. I plan to use the markers, crayons, and colored pencils to allow them to be able to express themselves creatively in the academic and social realm. I truly need your support to make this engaging learning environment a reality!
