I have incorporated Morning Tubs into my classroom but often feel I don't have enough options to keep my students engaged and excited. That's where your help comes in! Most of the items on my list are for that reason alone. Magna-Tiles, Playstix, and the Building Bricks kits will cause my students to work together as a group to solve problems, build creations and enjoy getting to know one another. I have some flexible seating options in my classroom but they have not held up for the year. I know Lakeshore makes sturdy classroom furniture for children that can be used on a daily basis and withstand anything that comes their way. We do have iPads in our rooms in our district, but 3 just doesn't cut it when you have 22 students. iPads are incredibly user friendly and can be used in every single subject area in the classroom. I use them in literacy stations, tutoring, math extension programs and to document student work using SeeSaw.
