If my project is fully funded, students will have two novels to study over the summer while attending summer school. Access to supplies ensures student attendance and relieves a financial burden on parents who may not have the means to purchase books and supplies. They will also have access to art supplies for personal painting peojects. Students in alternative education need summer school to retain their learning, build their skills, recover credits, and maintain stable relationships. Retention is higher for students who maintain connections over the summer and graduation rates increase. Thank you for considering supporting this project and these amazing students.
