These materials will impact my students by engaging them to be "outside the box" thinkers. They will expand their imagination which I feel is lacking. I want to expand it in my classroom! Using the Creative Magnetic Building Sets, Smart Games Trucky 3, Tinker Toy Building set, KID K'Nex and the teaching easel, my students will build a foundation on using critical thinking skills, using their imagination, and writing about what they are creating on the teaching easel. The main goal for these STEM materials is for providing hands-on learning for my ESL students who won't get it anywhere else but in our classroom. All my students want is to have fun and I want to provide that! If they are engaged, they WILL learn. These items will be used. I see them finishing an activity and having their free time being engaged in STEM.
