I have recently made some changes to my classroom based on the needs of my students. For example, I have lowered most of the tables in my room so they are now floor tables. I chose to do this because children love to play and explore on the floor. It gives them more space and it is what they find to be more comfortable. Also, I have noticed my students would prefer to sit, rather than stand, at the water table so having the option for them to be seated will enhance the quality of their play. Help me provide my students with alternative seating they need to stay engaged and be successful.
