These keyboards will work wonders for my classroom. We work a lot on writing English as their second language, and I confer with students for feedback and writing workshops on how to improve their writing. Many students are frustrated with attempting to type long essays on an ipad screen. Some other students bring laptops from home to use and they finish way earlier than my students who are using an ipad. It is hard to type rough drafts and research papers, as they would prefer to spend time editing and not all of their time trying to type on the ipad screen. The expo markers would be a great tool as well, since I do a lot of work in plastic folders for students to write and them wipe-off after discussion. I also have a lot of on-the-board collaborative work. With these new keyboards, students would be able to type more easily, putting them at the same advantage as their laptop-using peers.
