My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given an opportunity to use technology. They get very excited and have a stronger desire to learn lifelong literacy skills. Technology in my classroom will enhance my student's educational experience. My goal as an educator in a Title 1 school is to provide all students interactive and fun lessons that promote a lifelong love of learning. A Smart board will assist me to reach my goal. It will also allow me to accommodate different learning styles, (such as visual learners and kinetic learners), different ability levels and engage students that may are struggling due to various factors. A smart board will therefore give access to education and technology they would not have otherwise.
