In my classroom there is no carpet/rug where my students can sit during whole group time. We have carpet time at least once a day if not more. We will be using carpet time for whole group, small group, and even individual activities. A carpet/rug will benefit my students environment and make it much more comfortable. It will be much more welcoming having a nice carpet where each of students have a space to sit on. We will practice a lot of cooperative learning such as circle time. This will help our class building skills. The carpet I found for my students is from Lakeshore.
