By having flexible seating options the students are able to have control over their seating. One option is the balance ball seating. The balance ball seating will help students that are not able to focus as well by allowing them to wobble, rock, and bounce. In addition, flexible seating options like the inflatable chair or the beanless bag inflatable chair will allow students to get up and move to a more comfortable seat. Flexible seating will help emphasize more engagement in instruction and less disruptions. Students will be accountable for their choice of flexible seating. Students will have to fill out and sign a contract that describes how the flexible seating options will be intended to work in my classroom. If a student misuses a flexible seating option, they will have to return to a normal desk chair.
