When I asked students what they would do to improve our classroom, one responded, “Can we please have a couch in our classroom? I will help you pay for it!" As I looked around my room, I realized that our traditional learning environment would benefit from more student choice in seating. The rest of the teachers agreed. Our school is the second smallest school in the state of Wisconsin, so we do not have proper funds to fund this project. Our goal is to raise money for standing tables, stools, ball chairs, and other seating options to provide a fun and comfortable environment for students to learn.

About my class
