This year I am looking for more hands-on math fun! My students enjoy working with their hands and engaging in math projects. However, my classroom lacks math manipulatives. I would love to have more visually engaging math items to help promote our math standards. My students need hands on learning experiences to help promote a better understanding of math standards. My third graders love working out problems on the board and using dry erase boards when completing guided and independent practice. This helps me know they understand the concepts being taught immediately so that I can determine who needs some extra help.
