This will be the capstone project for one of my program's seniors - research, build, and operate a self-contained "selfie booth" for daily use on our campus and at community events. It's a simple project but it packs in so much WIN in a small box by bringing together multiple stakeholders in our ISD! We wish to follow the guide shown at https://makezine.com/projects/raspberry-pi-photo-booth/ with a little customization and perhaps some help from our other CTE tracks for fabrication. Everybody benefits from this! The senior AVP student will get great experience using his tech skills from class to build and troubleshoot it, the class benefits by writing the documentation to use it, the campus benefits from the device by using it in our halls with our existing video boards as a morale tool (kids love to see themselves on-screen!), and the community benefits from the service at our outreach events with a way to group up, smile, and be proud with an "auto-photographer"! Whadda'ya say? Want to help us realize the big picture?
