Our classroom currently has some flexible seating options, but I am envisioning a room filled with flexible seating choices for my students. Most of the elementary classrooms in my school are still utilizing traditional seated desks or tables, but I've done a lot of research and I would LOVE to start using flexible seating! So I'm taking the leap, dumping the desks, and replacing them with different forms of flexible seating options. Donations to this project will help bring about a major change in my classroom; they will allow each student to have a choice in their work environment that will work best for them and their learning. By implementing flexible seating, I hope to increase student engagement, focus, and concentration. The standing desks and wobble stools that I have chosen for my project are going to be a new, exciting, and engaging way for students to learn!
