As a first year teacher, I had to buy a lot of my classroom supplies with my own money. As I continue working on organizing and setting up my very own first classroom, I knew we were missing one thing... a class carpet! Last year I student taught in a second grade classroom and we used the carpet every day, multiple times a day! We would start the day with a fun read aloud as a class at the carpet and discuss it afterward. I would often give directions for an activity at the carpet and then students are dismissed to desks to work together. We also enjoyed some fun and educational videos together at the carpet. Presentations done by my students were often done at the carpet to ensure we had a good listening audience. I know this will come in handy and help my students focus and learn in new ways! Help us create a fun learning environment for everyone with this fun and colorful carpet for whole group learning!
