This tree might seem silly, but to a group of kids it will represent something much bigger. My students will use this to celebrate their random acts of kindness and this will be used to promote the idea of teamwork and bully prevention. In today's classrooms we spend so much time getting a student ready for tests, that we let being a good person slip through the cracks. With this tree not only will we be able to gather around it and share our kindness acts, but we will be able to use it as a way to open up conversations about what makes a person a "good person" and what character traits we need to have to make a positive impact on the world.

About my class
