Most teachers, as you know, cover the cost of materials to furnish their classrooms in order to provide an environment conducive to learning. Unfortunately, we don’t always have the financial means to provide what they need and our school and/or districts don’t help with the financial burden. Teaching in a Montessori classroom, students have the opportunity to work at tables and workspaces on the floor. Our current rugs are worn, stained, and not sanitary for floor work lessons. These new rugs will enable students to work on lessons in a clean space while also providing comfort on a tile floor.
