At Hephzibah High School, I provide special education services to special needs students in a pull-out/resource interrelated setting. I teach 9th - 12th grade special needs students with various disabilities such as specific learning disabilities (SLD), emotional behavior disorders (EBD), mild intellectually disabled (MILD), autism (Aut) and other health impaired (OHI). Subjects I currently teach include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and Advanced Mathematical Decision Making which can be quite a challenge for special needs students with cognitive disabilities, attention deficient disorders and/or processing disorders. Most of the students at Hephzibah High School receive free and reduced lunches.
