These books will supplement units in our reading series. In the past, we have utilized YouTube videos to read the books we don't have in our classroom. However, a video can't take the place of holding a book in your hands. The children love to go to the bookshelf and grab a book I have read to them. Research has proven children need to be read to by an adult. When I am reading one of these books to my students I will be able to stop, reflect, and ensure comprehension. These are timeless books that will be treasured for years to come.
