My students don't have access to a quality lab for experiments. Serious underfunding of our school creates serious deficits for these kids to overcome. Having a classroom set of laptops for students to use will go such a long way in providing them numerous avenues of development. Virtual labs allow students to conduct science in a safe, effective and inexpensive way. The cost of expendable supplies, safety and lab equipment, and large lab space is eliminated. Students can perform research, assemble presentations, and improve their professional technology skills that will serve them in their careers. We live in a technological age and these kids really need the opportunity to make use of technology in the classroom to maximize their learning. Please help give my students a gift that will vastly improve their educational experience and bolster their college and career readiness.
