"Because of Winn-Dixie" is one of the best books we read in 3rd grade every year. I watch as students fall in love with reading through this book. I know if every student had a copy they are able to hold in their hands as we read, they would fall in love with reading books! When students find books they enjoy it opens a whole new world of learning for them. I would love for students year after year to be able to continue reading these books and even have some in our classroom library for check out each week.
