These folder games are needed to reinforce in a fun way basic reading and writing skills. The students can use these game during our station learning time as well as our time for interventions. Students need time to practice their skills that in not worksheet or text book related. The fun and nonthreatening way to delivering reviews/ practice time will help in keeping students engaged. This will allow me as a teacher to work with others while others are getting the so needed practice. I can't wait to see the results of student's faces as they engage in playing while learning.
