These tools will not only help my students with fluency, but it will also help them use their creativity to create stories, and participate in re-telling of stories. With the microphones, students will be able to gain the confidence that they need. Through available apps, students will be able to explain and summarize lessons throughout the curriculum. Students take pride in creating stories and enjoy hearing themselves and their peers once they complete their stories. Seeing their reactions while presenting is rewarding not only for them, but the teacher as well. Headphones with microphones will also help students with the Smarty Ants educational app to better improve their reading through letter and word recognition.
