Each of the 8 students in this autism classroom has sensory needs which can cause a lot of challenges if they are not met. They are each bright, and are capable of achieving as much as any other student! However, if they don't have the tools to help make sure those needs are being met, they struggle to stay on task and stay self-regulated. By donating to this project, you are helping ensure that each of these student's with autism is having their most basic needs met! This sensory room will be the very first in our school. It is so exciting to think about the amount of enjoyment this Sensory Room will bring out scholars! From the mini bubble tube to the resistance tunnel to the exciting tiles that move when they are touched or stood on, these students are guaranteed to have fun, stay engaged longer, have their needs met; all while learning new things about both themselves and the world around them. Thank you for your donation to our autism classroom!
