Our high school life skills program has equipment to create custom t-shirts. As the guidance department, we are the first office to interact and welcome new students to our district. Our project is to partner with our Life Skills program and create welcome packets to give to new students when they enroll in our school. Our Life Skills students will design and create school logo t-shirts to be included in a welcome packet that will also include a gym bag, pencils, and other various school supplies. This project will help our Life Skills students to develop design, manufacturing, and business skills. It will also provide the guidance office, in conjunction with our student ambassadors, a welcome packet to give to new students to help them feel part of their new school from the very beginning.
