This year, my school district is focusing on building a community campaign to support A Culture of Literacy. #TeamBCSDReads These read alouds will help students build a positive classroom culture with a social-emotional focus, as well as building relationships with others. Through the magic of reading books, classroom circles, and student led activities, these read alouds will create a culture of literacy in the classroom! Whether the story focuses on being a bully, how to be a friend, feeling special and important, or learning about mindfulness, all of these stories will help my students bring to light the struggles they deal with and learn how to be a problem solver.
