Our district implements online programs that help students reinforce or reteach academic skills. Since they are individualized lessons, students need to be able to hear the lesson. Headphones will keep the noise levels down and students focused on their own lesson. The joy of watching Kinder students hear themselves for the first time is an experience to behold. I would like to have microphones so that students can also practice speaking and reading. With reading practice using the headphones, they can build their fluency, reading expression, and build confidence exponentially.
