Technology is a hot commodity in our school! At times, it is difficult to have access to computers on a regular basis. Having a small set of laptops in the special education wing would allow our students to have access to technology on a daily basis. Students will be able to work more independently, using the laptops to read and listen to books, dictate and type writing assignments, and practice computer skills. By donating to our project, our students will have this essential technology at their fingertips, allowing them to be more independent! Having these laptops will allow these awesome students easier access to audio books, text-to-speech and speech-to-text technology, and more to give them fair access to the general education curriculum and to allow them to work on their individual learning goals.

About my class
