The table and chair sets will be strategically positioned around the classroom to encourage cooperative learning. The drop leaf dining set with 2 chairs will be offered to students who would prefer a more quiet space to work independently. The multi-purpose stools will be positioned by the teacher's desk for small group conferencing and instruction. Flexible seating will create an inviting and comfortable environment for learning. I have chosen the items above to help create this cozy classroom. I want my students to feel at home when they are in my classroom, so that they might leave their insecurities outside the classroom and be ready to learn.
