A projector will enhance my students’ learning in all kinds of ways. I can show them videos to make their learning more interactive, I can display the directions for a particular class activity so that students can see the directions in addition to hearing them, and I can project graphs and images to analyze as a class. A projector will also help us stay organized, as it will allow me to project important information like our daily agenda, essential question, learning objective, and homework. A projector is also an essential tool for students to share what they are learning with one another. Since I teach science, students are often actively engaged in hands-on labs, and a projector makes it easier to share data and results. We can project class-collected data in spreadsheets so we can analyze that data together. Students can make PowerPoint presentations to share lab results or research findings with the entire class. They can share videos that they have made with the entire class.
