My Kindergarten students are very excited to learn to read and write in Spanish and English, but must of them are struggling readers. I would like to get engaging materials for them to use during our reading and writing centers, to help them develop the needed skills to be successful bilingual readers and writers. Nothing compares to watching my students' faces light up as they realize that they have found a book they can read! Allowing the students to also have multiple books on their level to choose from gives the students more ownership of their reading. Through your donation, you will be providing my students with the opportunity to have these special moments in reading. When the students begin to read books they love, at their own reading level, they become lifelong learners.
