At our school, we use the acronym SOAR which stands for safe, organized, and respectful. Our school mascot is an eagle and we remind the children to ‘SOAR’ like an eagle by showing safety, organizational skills, and respect for all. As the physical education and health teacher of 600 amazing and wonderful students, it is my job and privilege to do my part to ensure all of them are successful in their endeavors to ‘SOAR'. Because we have one room which is utilized for physical education, lunch, assemblies of all kinds, and also dismissal and arrival, it’s important the students can hear crucial directions. Currently we do not have a sound system of any kind but this wireless speaker would allow all students in our multipurpose room to hear directions clearly without anyone having to speak in an unnatural or strenuous way and without competition from external noises in the adjoining hallways and outdoors. I worry that in the unfortunate event that we may have to evacuate the students will be put in danger because they do not hear crucial safety information. We would also be able to use this speaker for our many events we have to increase parental involvement which include dances, bingo nights, awards ceremonies, concerts and multicultural nights. I would really appreciate having this wireless speaker for my school and would also use it to play energetic and motivating music so children will be encouraged and excited to keep on moving and grooving during physical education class and at recess.
