I have two classrooms, the room where I teach history, and the pool deck where I coach water polo. In my history classroom I have pictures from all over the world to inspire my students to travel, learn new languages, try new foods, and appreciate those that are different from us. I hold my students to high expectations, but try to mix in fun, accents and good life discussions into our study of history. My goal is to develop these young kids into responsible global citizens who will participate positively in our society. On the pool deck we've been working to beautify the campus by making the pool area a place to be proud of. With the help and donations of parents, the school, and community members we have painted a mural, benches, put up a new scoreboard, and started a donor wall. My goal is to develop these young athletes into hard-working, driven, and responsible young men, ready for life after high school.
