This is my first year teaching Kindergarten and my first ever classroom of my own! My classroom, on the other hand, has been well lived in for over 50 years, and it shows. The space is limited and making room for more of what brings Kindergarteners joy is my mission. Seat sacks on the back of all chairs will help each of my students keep their prized work organized. If my students can store their reading, writing and math folders on the back of their seat sacks, we'd be able open up counter space for more things that bring us joy, like having display space for art and science! The book bags will help my readers be more mobile with their collection of carefully leveled and appropriate books. "Grab your book bag and go find a spot that brings you joy to read it." Looking forward to saying those words! Thanks for your support.
