Our school library is getting a make over this summer - fresh paint, new arrangement, etc. One element that is being added is the intervention library. I thought to take this one step further, and create a cozy space for students to work with their teachers and/or an assistant teacher on reading lessons in the library. The space will be included in the library, but structured in a way that students have easy access to library materials, but have some seclusion while working on lessons. This is just another area for students to learn, and work on making the library a media space that supports all learners.
