Each child will have their own chapter book to increase their confidence in reading! We will begin with Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Each child will have their own copy. The students have seen the movies, but not read the book. We will then read BFG next! We will read the book together as a class. The students will also be able to take their copy home at night. We will also be using this book to help influence our own writing. The students will begin keeping a daily journal! We are very excited about all we will be able to do with new books!
