As a music teacher, I know hands-on learning is essential for my students. This project will benefit over 375 young learners. In class, the music kits will allow students to learn and create music without constant sanitizing and fear of sharing materials. My students will be able to have their own egg shakers to help learn steady beat, about percussion instruments, playing rhythm patterns and so much more. Students will be able to express the music through movement by using the scarves. Also, the scarves provide another way to show movement such as steady beat, high and low, and so much more. If we have to shut down our school at any point, my students will have these music kits to take home with them and continue learning at home.
